WAYNE YOUNGBLOOD JOINS 
REGENCY-SUPERIOR AUCTIONS

   St. Louis, MO - Regency-Superior Auctions is pleased to announce that Wayne L. Youngblood has joined the firm as Vice President, Consignor Relations. Youngblood, a lifelong collector, is one of the most well-known and familiar individuals in the U.S. stamp collecting hobby. In this position, Youngblood will be responsible for working with consignors, potential consignors and helping with auctions and many other aspects of this rapidly growing business.

   "I and the rest of the staff look forward to working with Wayne. He brings new expertise and talent to the firm. With the firm growing so rapidly, Wayne makes an excellent addition to the management team. We could not be happier," said the firm's president David Kols. 

   Youngblood brings with him extensive professional philatelic and other collectibles knowledge and experience. He has served as associate editor at Linn’s, editor of Scott Stamp Monthly, and Editor-Publisher of Stamp Collector newspaper. He has spent the past two years freelancing, including extensive buying and selling, designing exhibits and acting as personal agent for collectors looking to buy or sell their collections and exhibits. He also is the author of eight books, ranging from stamps to history and historical photography. As a seasoned professional, Youngblood has taught the annual Stamp Technology course at the APS Summer Seminar on Philately for 18 years and is an expertizer with the APS. His collecting specialties include U.S. stamps & postal history, errors, freaks and oddities of the USA and World, and USA back of the book.

   Youngblood currently sits on the boards of directors of the American Philatelic Society and Arizona Philatelic Rangers and has served as a philatelic judge and director for the American First Day Cover Society.

   Although Youngblood’s primary expertise lies with stamps and postal history, he’s no stranger to coins, comics, records, early photos and other forms of memorabilia and paper Americana.
